Bungalow 87 Hengar Manor
Bungalow 87 accommodates up to 4 people (with the option of an infant under two in a travel cot in addition by arrangement) in two bedrooms. It is pet free and non-smoking accommodation. We can provide a travel cot (you supply your own bedding) and/or high chair by prior arrangement and do not charge extra for these. You may notice beds for 3 in the second bedroom but we advertise for 4 guests due to the seating arrangements in lounge and dining area. This may be negotiable on a case by case basis so do ask.
Lounge/Diner
The large open plan living area has two leather 2 seater sofas, nesting tables, 40 inch Smart TV. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs (option of a high chair). There is a heater which is pre-set by us but timing can be changed on request, and an additional convector heater for top up. Wi-Fi is included in your booking price.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped for self catering. It has a full size built in fan oven and ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. There is a selection of pans and baking dishes and more than the minimum amount of crockery, cutlery and glasses. We provide a tea towel and some washing up liquid in case you have forgotten your own.
Bathroom
The bathroom contains toilet (of course), vanity unit and a large shower cubicle. There is a fan heater for the colder weather.
Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 has a 4ft 6" double bed, wardrobe and bedside drawers. We provide a 10.5 tog quilt and 4 pillows bed is fully made up with bed linen for your arrival. There is a convector heater with thermostat.
Bedroom 2
Bedroom 2 has a triple bunk (4ft 6" double on the bottom with a 3ft single over), wardrobe, bedside drawers and large chest of drawers. The bed arrangements allows us to offer two double beds or beds for two children/ adult and child in the second bedroom. We provide a 10.5 tog quilt and 2 pillows per bed space booked and the beds are fully made up with bed linen for your arrival. There is a convector heater with thermostat.
Outside
We have a patio with table and 4 chairs where you can sit in the sun (hopefully) and enjoy a meal or cup of tea facing the green
Parking
The allocated parking space is at the rear of the bungalow (adjacent to the road) and is a level walk to the front door.
Passes
Passes for the leisure centre, swimming pool etc will be allocated according to your booking details and are left in the kitchen ready for you.
Please note - we do not provide towels or bath mats. This is self-catering accommodation so we don't provide consumables such as toilet rolls (just one so it is ready for you when you arrive after a long journey), shampoo, conditioner etc ( as people always have their own preferences). We try to provide condiments in the kitchen but sometimes these go home with other guests so are not guaranteed to be present. Please remember to bring anything you can't manage without.
